The Company
Raycon Global, founded in 2017, is the new sound of the technologies and personalities of our times. The Fraud Problem
Much like jewelry, new technology, and other high value items, electronics have always been a prime target for fraud and theft. Items with a high value and small mass are most appealing to thieves for their actual value, resalability, and ease of transport. Initial Solution
Ray Lee, CEO of Raycon Global, who co-founded the company with musical performer and artist Ray J, tackled the fraud issue by manually reviewing orders for fraud, a tedious and time consuming task. In addition to not being fraud experts, not knowing what to look out for, and not having access to information such as geolocation or device recognition technologies, manual review took up a significant amount of their time with a task that they weren’t best suited for.
As CEO, Ray was charged with leading product development, operations and the finances of the rapidly growing company. With a customer centric business model, Ray was also heavily occupied with consumer feedback and the many social media promoters of Raycon Global products.
